Generating Test Cases

After uploading your documents, OopsBot lets you generate structured test cases with the help of prompts and smart suggestions.

Step 1: Navigate to Generate Test Case

• Select your project from top right.

Step 2: Enter a Prompt or Use Suggested Prompts

• You can either:

  • Write a custom prompt describing what kind of test cases you want, or

  • Select from suggested prompts automatically generated based on your uploaded document.

Step 3: Generate Test Case Titles

• Hit Enter to run the prompt.

• OopsBot will generate a list of test case titles that match your requirements.

Step 4: Select Titles for Generation

• Review the suggested titles.

• Check the boxes next to the ones you want to create detailed test cases for.

Step 5: Generate Selected Test Cases

• Click “Generate Selected”.

• OopsBot will generate complete test cases for the chosen titles, including:

  • Description

  • Objective

  • Preconditions

  • Steps

  • Expected Result

Best Practices

• Use clear prompts to guide generation.

• Select only relevant titles for cleaner test suites.

• Regenerate when requirements or documents change.
