Uploading Documents in OopsBot

Learn how to upload PRDs and other files into OopsBot to generate structured test cases for your projects.

Uploading Your Documents

OopsBot generates test cases based on your uploaded documents, such as PRDs or feature specifications. Uploading documents to a project is the first step toward automated test case generation.

Step 1: Open Your Project

  • Log in to OopsBot.

  • From the Projects dashboard, select the project where you want to upload documents.

Step 2: Upload Documents

  • Click “Upload Document”.

  • Choose from your computer or import directly from Google Drive (if enabled).

  • Supported formats:

    • .docx, .pdf, .txt, .md

    • Google Docs (via Drive integration)

Step 3: Manage Uploaded Files

  • Once uploaded, your documents will appear in the Documents list inside the project.

  • You can:

    • Replace outdated versions

    • Delete files you no longer need

Best Practices

  • Use clear filenames (e.g., Checkout_Flow_PRD_v2.docx).

  • Keep only the latest version to avoid duplication.

  • Upload one PRD per feature/module for clean generation.
